More on SOME of our selections:

  1. ENOLA HOLMES I & 2

    • In the "Enola Holmes" flicks, (2020 & 2022), an intelligent and resourceful teenage detective, Enola Holmes (played by Millie Bobby Brown of STRANGER THINGS), tries to emulate and outdo her older brother, Sherlock Holmes (played by THE WITCHER star HENRY CAVILL). Set in Victorian England, With additional stellar castmates like HELENA BONHAM CARTER (the HARRY POTTER series), these movies are good mystery-solving fun for teens and up!

  2. MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 & RIFFTRAX

    • Mystery Science Theater 3000, also referred to as MST3K, is a cult TV series that originated in the late 1980s and has garnered a dedicated following. The show follows the misadventures of Joel (JOEL HODGSON), and later Mike (MICHAEL J. NELSON), who are trapped on a satellite by evil scientists and forced to watch terrible B-movies. Helping them cope are their snarky robot companions, Crow T. Robot, Tom Servo, and Gypsy. Together, the gang provides hilarious commentary, wisecracks, and witty sketches between reels!

RiffTrax is a continuation of the MST3K tradition created by some of the show's original cast members, including MIKE NELSON, KEVIN MURPHY, and BILL CORBETT. RiffTrax offers downloadable movies, shorts, and audio-only commentaries that can be synced with tons of popular movies, including blockbusters, cult classics, and crazy obscure films. Similar to MST3K, the team delivers humorous jabs, points out plot holes, inconsistencies, and comedic opportunities within the films.

  3. ANNE OF GREEN GABLES 1 & 2 (1985/1987)

    • Anne of Green Gables and it’s filmic sequel, Anne of Avonlea, are beloved adaptations of Lucy Maud Montgomery's classic novels sharing their names. Set in the late 19th century, they tell the enchanting story of Anne Shirley, a spirited and imaginative orphan girl who is mistakenly sent to live with Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, a middle-aged brother and sister who had intended to adopt a boy to help them on their farm in Avonlea, Prince Edward Island, Canada.

These flicks were originally TV miniseries, and have since been compiled into long (but not too long) features.

  4. BLADE: TRINITY

    • Blade: Trinity is a 2004 action-horror film and the third installment in the Blade film series. Blade (played by WESLEY SNIPES), is a half-vampire, half-human vampire hunter, who originated in a 1973 MARVEL COMICS issue of TOMB OF DRACULA (#10).

Blade’s third outing, directed by series’ writer DAVID S. GOYER, has him team up with a group of vampire hunters known as the NIGHTSTALKERS, played by JESSICA BIEL and soon-to-be superstar RYAN REYNOLDS. Together, they face DRACULA himself (played by DOMINIC PURCELL), alongside PARKER POSEY!
