Abigail (2024) is a horror-thriller film that reimagines classic vampire lore. The story revolves around Abigail, a centuries-old vampire trapped in the body of a 12-year-old girl, played by Alisha Weir. Set in a modern-day gothic environment, Abigail is kidnapped by a group of criminals led by Lambert, a sinister mastermind. As she navigates her captivity, she encounters a range of morally complex characters, including Joey, a military medic, and Frank, a corrupt former detective.

The film explores Abigail's relationship with her father, Kristof Lazaar, an ancient vampire and notorious crime lord, played by Matthew Goode. As Lazaar attempts to rescue his daughter, tension builds between him and Abigail, who begins to question her father’s methods and motives.
