More on TALLADEGA NIGHTS: THE BALLAD OF RICKY BOBBY:

"Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" is comedy flick in 2006, directed by Adam McKay (ANCHORMAN) and starring Will Ferrell. The movie follows the life of Ricky Bobby, a dim-witted yet talented NASCAR driver, and his journey through success, downfall, and redemption.

Ricky Bobby starts as a young boy with dreams of becoming a professional race car driver, and yes, it’s all to make his deadbeat dad (GARY COLE) proud. He achieves his goal and becomes the best NASCAR driver in the game. Ricky's success goes to his head, however, and he basks in his fame and fortune at the expense of best friend Cal (JOHN C. REILLY).

However, Ricky's life takes a turn when a flamboyant French Formula One driver named Jean Girard (SACHA BARON COHEN) challenges him on the track. Girard outperforms Ricky and becomes the new sensation in the racing world, leaving Ricky devastated, unable to race, and frequently running the track in his tighty whities.

With the return of his estranged father, Reese Bobby, Ricky begins his journey to regain his former glory. As most racing films do, this process of regaining his skills includes a puma.

In the end, Ricky Bobby manages to confront his fears, rebuild his career, and reconcile with his loved ones. He even gets a new girl (AMY ADAMS)!
